My brother and I were running down Kinder Scout to get to the car before complete darkness , both exhausted and too tired to talk. As we reached the top of a hill, Steve yelled '' PHOTO!!! '' and this view stopped us dead for a few minutes.
Perfect end to a great winter hike.

Taken in the Peak District, England.

No colour editing except foreground brightened.

EDIT - Huge thanks to :iconsun-seeker: who corrected the foreground for me!

Canon 5D, 24-105L Lens, Lee 81C and 0.75 grad filters

Kid.. I hope thats somekind of slang, unknown to me :lol: Thanks mate. We did have torches, but wasn't sure on the way back so light was useful :D

Don't you ever use 'our kid' or 'your kid'? (eg 'my brother' or 'your brother' ). Sorry Dan, without thinking, I assumed it was a well known turn of phrase. Guess not! :)
